【匠塾】塾長　匠自動車代表　　田中　大助略歴整備士になりたかったのに間違って入った、修理工場それが1995年高知県の当時、鈑金が有名な町工場にて塗装見習い勤務この時、初めて鈑金塗装という業務を知る。焼付鈑金と出会う。メカいじりが好きな青年は、ある日から水道ホースと作業灯とサンドペーパーを持たされるあまりにも過酷な環境と労働により無断欠勤など挫折を繰り返す(笑)ある日、このままでは腐ってしまう！俺は元々車いじる方が好きだから塗装屋辞めて鈑金屋になる！と現金三万円握りしめＲＧガンマ400というバイクにまたがり、約千キロ先の神奈川県川崎市という町に辿り着く。そこでISUZU川崎にて住み込み勤務トラック製造に携わる。昼はISUZU川崎、夜は川崎の繁華街でバーテンダーやカラオケ店員しながら、鈑金屋就活する。しかし三ヶ月経ってもなかなか雇ってくれない。それもそのはず。
東京の面接って皆スーツ。私は、破れたジーパンにヨレヨレTシャツ。そして、とある面接でこう言い放つ｢ここから千キロ離れた所からバイク乗って来たんだ！金はいらんから、僕を鈑金屋にしてくれ！｣で、
1997年こいつは只者じゃない！で東京にある某日本最大級事故修理集中センターにて勤務翌年、センターは月約850台を回転させる。（現在のセンター約650台）2000年学ぶことが無くなったと思い、高知県の最初入社した工場に鈑金職人として帰る。しかし、これからが本当の事故修理の鈑金屋修行だと知る事になる。なぜなら、当時最新で最大のセンター出身の私が、高知市で有名な町工場の鈑金業務に手も足も出なかったからだ。毎日が怒られて怒られて涙涙でした。2004年別の町工場で武者修行この頃、労働時間はピークに達する。休日無しの午前9時から午前2時～4時頃まで働き人間では無いと言われ始める2006年高知市東部で有名な鈑金職人が亡くなった後の居抜き物件に巡り会う。そしてそこで車2台しか入らない小さい工場にて鈑金業務のみ匠自動車として独立開店、高知市内鈑金塗装店16社の鈑金業務担当2009年頃　【匠塾】始まる。同年、JAA日本自動車板金塗装協会設立2011年　　　　　　　　　　　鈑金から塗装まで自社にて作業するように現在の約200坪の工場に移転

Automotive sheet metal painting is wonderful! !! !!
I want you to know the great of sheet metal painting of Takumijuku. So I have held over 150 individual classes and have trained locally. It was such successful training. I had many more people reserve a space then I allowed for. It's over 200 extra people showed up. I listened to many people. Many people said it is difficult to make money, even if you do it seriously. Also people don’t understand it is difficult work. I've been involved in this work for 25 years, 10 years as a trainer, I have been often told pessimistic stories.
But I want to say again.
Automotive sheet metal painting is a great job!
New technologies such as self-driving cars and advanced automobiles seem to be the future of the automobile industry, but the original sheet metal coating technology is separate from that. Sheet metal coating technology is about repairing and painting the car body.
Everyone should be impressed with the technique that sheet metal painters have continued to polish for decades and decades.
There is not one great thing. One craftsman learns many difficult techniques. But it is amazing!
What is more amazing is that it is a job that will change the future.
You cannot change the damaged past, but I think we can change the future of what our customers want. That is also our future.
In other words, it's a job where you can create your own future!
Let's change the future of sheet metal painting by not having to project pessimistic things anymore, but having a high degree of professionalism and saying that it is a wonderful job!

Personal History
- 1995
I wanted to be a mechanic, but I went into the repair shop by mistake. In 1995, when I was in Kochi prefecture, I worked as a paint apprentice at a town factory famous for sheet metal.　At this time, I first learned about sheet metal painting. I had a water hose, lights, and sandpaper from one day. It’s repeated frustration such as absenteeism due to too harsh environment and labor.
One day, I thought I have to change something by myself.
I liked to tinker with cars. That's why I decided to quit the painting job and become a sheet metal worker, so I came to a town called Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, riding my RG400Γ. And I worked in truck manufacturing at ISUZU Kawasaki. I worked for ISUZU during the daytime, and at night I worked as a bartender and karaoke staff in downtown Kawasaki, while looking for a job as a sheet metal worker. But after three months had passed, I could not get a Sheet metal worker's job. It's not surprising because I was wearing a shabby T-shirt. I finally said in an interview. “I came from far away to here. I don't need money. So hire me!”
- 1997
People might think I'm strange, but I stayed in there.
So, I worked at Japan's Largest Accident Repair Concentration Center in Tokyo.
The next year, We repaired about 850 cars a month. (Currently about 650cars.)
- 2000
I thought there was nothing more to learn here, so I returned to Kochi’s sheet metal shop.
However, this was the beginning of the training for sheet metal painting.
Even I worked at the newest and largest center at that time, I was not helpful of the famous town factory in Kochi City. So I got yelled at and I cried every day.
- 2004
Work in another town factory for training.
Around this time, I've been swamped with work.
I worked from 9am to 2am-4am without day-off.
Somebody said “you are not human”.
- 2006
I found a good property in Kochi. But It was only as big as 2 cars and what's more, Sheet metal work only.
Independently opened as Takumi Automobile, in charge of sheet metal work for 16 sheet metal paint shops in Kochi city.
- 2009
Takumijuku begins. In the same year, JAA Japan Automobile Sheet Metal Painting Association established.
- 2011
Moved to the current factory of about 661.16㎡ so that it can work from sheet metal to painting in our company.
